Q 1: What is paradise?
A. Paradise is an abode of endless bliss which Allah Almighty has created for the believers. It is comprised of one hundred classes and the distance between two classes is like that of the distance between the earth and heavens. Each heaven is so vast and spacious that there will remain enough room if the whole world with all its contents is placed therein.
Q 2: What is in paradise?
A. Allah Almighty has created such paraphernalia of physical and spiritual bliss and felicity in it that is unseen, unheard, un-imagined and undreamt of. Even an emperor and king can not enjoy such pleasures and facilities which will be available to the inmates of the lowest class of the paradise.
Q 3: Which will be the greatest blessing in paradise?
A. The greatest favour with which the believers will be graced in heavens is the "vision(sight) of Allah". All divine boons, bounties and favours will be eclipsed by Allah's vision. Once believers had it they would get absorbed in its exquisite ecstasy for ever.
Q 4: How many believers will be entered into heavens?
A. The Holy Prophet said that of my bondslaves, seventy thousands would be admitted into heavens without any "reckoning". Everyone of them would take a group of seventy thousand believers with him into paradise. Allah Almighty would yet grace them and three more multitudes of believers would accompany them. The exact number of believers who will be entered into heavens is known to Allah or His Choicest Prophet whom Allah Almighty has endowed with such knowledge.

Q1: What is hell?
A. Allah Almighty has created a dreadful place for the chastisement and punishment of infidels, disbelievers and sinners which is called "Jahannam" (hell). It has seventy thousand dangerous and horrendous valleys with each valley having seventy thousand similar horrid dells and pits. These valleys, dells and pits are infested with innumerable frightful scorpions, serpents and dragons.

Adam - According to Quran and Sunnah Hadith - related by Muslim, Abu Dawud, an-Nasa'i, and at-Tirmidhi who calls it sahih.
Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah peace and blessings of Allah be upon him said: "The best day on which the sun rises is Friday. [On Friday] Adam was created and on that day he entered paradise and on that day he was expelled from paradise. And the Hour will come to pass on Friday."
The Noble Qur'an Al-A'raf 7:189
It is He Who has created you from a single person (Adam), and (then) He has created from him his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], in order that he might enjoy the pleasure of living with her. ...
The Noble Qur'an Al-'Imran 3:59
Verily, the likeness of 'Iesa (Jesus) before All�h is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" - and he was.
Hadith - Abu Dawood. Imam Ahmad has narrated from Abu Musa that the Prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him said:
"Allah has created Adam from a handful (soil) which He had gathered from all over the earth. That is how the children of Adam came according to the (colour and nature of the) earth. There are white among them, as well as red and black, and cross colours. There are those among them who are of bad nature and good nature, soft as well as harsh and in between".
Sheikh Al-Albani (rahimahullah) declares the hadeeth authentic in Saheeh Al-Jaami' As-Sagheer wa-Ziyadatuhu (No. 1759) as well as in Silsalatul-Ahaadeeth-as-Saheehah (No. 1630).
Trouble in Paradise
Adam and Hawwa (Eve), may Allah's peace and blessings be upon them, abode in paradise until being deceived by Iblis (a jinn [devil]) and disobediently eating of the tree which had been forbidden to them.
The Noble Qur'an Al-A'raf 7:11-27
11. And surely, We created you (your father Adam) and then gave you shape (the noble shape of a human being), then We told the angels, "Prostrate to Adam", and they prostrated, except Ibl�s (Satan), he refused to be of those who prostrate.
12. (All�h) said: "What prevented you (O Ibl�s) that you did not prostrate, when I commanded you?" Ibl�s said: "I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay."
13. (All�h) said: "(O Ibl�s) get down from this (Paradise), it is not for you to be arrogant here. Get out, for you are of those humiliated and disgraced."
14. (Ibl�s) said: "Allow me respite till the Day they are raised up (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)."
15. (All�h) said: "You are of those allowed respite."
16. (Ibl�s) said: "Because You have sent me astray, surely I will sit in wait against them (human beings) on Your Straight Path.
17. Then I will come to them from before them and behind them, from their right and from their left, and You will not find most of them as thankful ones (i.e. they will not be dutiful to You)."
18. (All�h) said (to Ibl�s) "Get out from this (Paradise) disgraced and expelled. Whoever of them (mankind) will follow you, then surely I will fill Hell with you all."
19. "And O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in Paradise, and eat thereof as you both wish, but approach not this tree otherwise you both will be of the Z�lim�n (unjust and wrong�doers)."
20. Then Shait�n (Satan) whispered suggestions to them both in order to uncover that which was hidden from them of their private parts (before); he said: "Your Lord did not forbid you this tree save you should become angels or become of the immortals."
21. And he [Shait�n (Satan)] swore by All�h to them both (saying): "Verily, I am one of the sincere well�wishers for you both."
22. So he misled them with deception. Then when they tasted of the tree, that which was hidden from them of their shame (private parts) became manifest to them and they began to stick together the leaves of Paradise over themselves (in order to cover their shame). And their Lord called out to them (saying): "Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you: Verily, Shait�n (Satan) is an open enemy unto you?"
23. They said: "Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers."
24. (All�h) said: "Get down, one of you an enemy to the other [i.e. Adam, Hawwa (Eve), and Shait�n (Satan), etc.]. On earth will be a dwelling�place for you and an enjoyment, - for a time."
25. He said: "Therein you shall live, and therein you shall die, and from it you shall be brought out (i.e.resurrected)."
26. O Children of Adam! We have bestowed raiment upon you to cover yourselves (screen your private parts, etc.) and as an adornment, and the raiment of righteousness, that is better. Such are among the Ay�t (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of All�h, that they may remember (i.e. leave falsehood and follow truth[]).
27. O Children of Adam! Let not Shait�n (Satan) deceive you, as he got your parents [Adam and Hawwa (Eve)] out of Paradise, stripping them of their raiments, to show them their private parts. Verily, he and Qab�luhu (his soldiers from the jinns or his tribe) see you from where you cannot see them. Verily, We made the Shay�tin (devils) Auliy�' (protectors and helpers) for those who believe not.
Not "Original Sin" - Forgiven
Adam (saaws) and Eve were forgiven by God/Allah, swt. We are no born into "original sin" (as is believed in current christian theology).
The Noble Qur'an TaHa 20:115-123
115. And indeed We made a covenant with Adam before, but he forgot, and We found on his part no firm will-power.
116. And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves to Adam." They prostrated (all) except Ibl�s* (Satan), who refused.
117. Then We said: "O Adam! Verily, this is an enemy to you and to your wife. So let him not get you both out of Paradise, so that you be distressed in misery.
118. Verily, you have (a promise from Us) that you will never be hungry therein nor naked.
119. And you (will) suffer not from thirst therein nor from the sun's heat.
120. Then Shait�n (Satan) whispered to him, saying : "O Adam! Shall I lead you to the Tree of Eternity and to a kingdom that will never waste away?"
121. Then they both ate of the tree, and so their private parts appeared to them, and they began to stick on themselves the leaves from Paradise for their covering. Thus did Adam disobey his Lord, so he went astray.
122. Then his Lord chose him, and turned to him with forgiveness, and gave him guidance.
123. (All�h) said:"Get you down (from the Paradise to the earth), both of you, together, some of you are an enemy to some others. Then if there comes to you guidance from Me, then whoever follows My Guidance shall neither go astray, nor fall into distress and misery.

The Noble Qur'an Al-Baqarah 2:30-38
30. And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Verily, I am going to place (mankind) generations after generations on earth." They said: "Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, - while we glorify You with praises and thanks (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners) and sanctify You." He (All�h) said: "I know that which you do not know."
31. And He taught Adam all the names (of everything), then He showed them to the angels and said, "Tell Me the names of these if you are truthful."
32. They (angels) said: "Glory be to You, we have no knowledge except what you have taught us. Verily, it is You, the All-Knower, the All-Wise."
33. He said: "O Adam! Inform them of their names," and when he had informed them of their names, He said: "Did I not tell you that I know the Ghaib (unseen) in the heavens and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you have been concealing?"
34. And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves before Adam.". And they prostrated except Ibl�s (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to All�h).
35. And We said: "O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the Z�lim�n (wrong-doers)."
36. Then the Shait�n (Satan) made them slip therefrom (the Paradise), and got them out from that in which they were. We said: "Get you down, all, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time."
37. Then Adam received from his Lord Words. And his Lord pardoned him (accepted his repentance). Verily, He is the One Who forgives (accepts repentance), the Most Merciful.
38. We said: "Get down all of you from this place (the Paradise), then whenever there comes to you Guidance from Me, and whoever follows My Guidance, there shall be no fear on them, nor shall they grieve.
Hadith - Qudsi 34
O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great at it.
The Statement of Allah: And He taught Adam all the names (of everything).
Hadith - Sahih Al-Bukhar�, Vol. 6, Had�th No. 3
Narrated Anas : The Prophet (saaws) said, "On the Day of Resurrection the believers will assemble and say, 'Let us ask somebody to intercede for us with our Lord.' So they will go to Adam and say, 'You are the father of all the people, and Allah created you with His Own Hands, and ordered the angels to prostrate to you, and taught you the names of all things; so please intercede for us with your Lord, so that He may relieve us from this place of ours.'
Adam will say, 'I am not fit for this (i.e. intercession for you).' Then Adam will remember his sin and feel ashamed thereof. He will say, 'Go to Noah, for he was thee first Messenger Allah sent to the inhabitants of the earth.'
They will go to him and Noah will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking.' He will remember his appeal to his Lord to do something of which he had no knowledge, then he will feel ashamed thereof and will say, 'Go to Khalil-ur-Rahm�n* (i.e. Abraham). They will go to him and he will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking. Go to Moses, the slave to whom Allah spoke (directly) and gave him the Torah.'
So they will go to him and he will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking,' and he will mention (his) killing a person who was not a killer, and so he will feel ashamed thereof before his Lord, and he will say, 'Go to Jesus, Allah's slave, His Messenger and Allah's Word and a spirit coming from Him**.
Jesus will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking, go to Muhammad the slave of Allah whose past and future sins were forgiven by Allah.' So they will come to me and I will proceed till I ask my Lord's Permission and I will be given permission.
When I see my Lord, I will fall down in prostration and He will lt me remain in that state as long as He wishes and then I will be addressed, '(Muhammad!) Raise your head. Ask, and your request will be granted; say, and your saying will be listened to; intercede, and your intercession will be accepted.' I will raise my head and praise Allah with a saying (i.e. invocation) He will teach me, and then I will intercede. He will fix a limit for me (to intercede) whom I will admit into Paradise. Then I will come back again to Allah, and when I see my Lord, the same thing will happen to me. And then I will intercede and Allah will fix a limit for me (to intercede) whom I will admit into Paradise, then I will come back for the third time; and then I will come back for the fourth time, and will say, 'None remains in Hell but those whom the Qur'�n has imprisoned in Hell' refers to the Statement of Allah : "To abide therein forever."
*The intimate friend of the Most Beneficent (Allah).
**This may wrongly be understood as the spirit or soul of Allah, in fact, it is a soul created by Allah, i.e. Jesus. It was His Word: "Be!" - and he was (created like the creation of Adam). Please see the word R�h-ullah in an Islamic glossary for further details.
The First Four Children
Excerpt - Stories of the Prophets, by Ibn Kathir
The pinnacle of earthly bliss was reached when Adam and Hawwa (Eve) witnessed the birth of their first children, a set of twins. Adam was a devouted father and Hawwa was a contented mother. The twins were Qabil (Cain) and his sister. Later, Hawwa (Eve) gave birth to a second set of twins, Habil (Abel) and his sister. The family enjoyed the bounties and fruits of the earth provided by their Lord. The children grew up to be strong and healthy young adults. Qabil (Cain) tilled the land while Habil (Abel) raised cattle.
Cain and Abel
The Noble Qur'an - Al-Ma'idah 5:27-32
27. And (O Muhammad SAW) recite to them (the Jews) the story of the two sons of Adam [H�bil (Abel) and Q�bil (Cain)] in truth; when each offered a sacrifice (to All�h), it was accepted from the one but not from the other. The latter said to the former: "I will surely kill you.[]" The former said: "Verily, All�h accepts only from those who are Al-Muttaq�n (the pious - see V.2:2)."
28. "If you do stretch your hand against me to kill me, I shall never stretch my hand against you to kill you, for I fear Allah; the Lord of the 'Alam�n (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)."
29. "Verily, I intend to let you draw my sin on yourself as well as yours, then you will be one of the dwellers of the Fire, and that is the recompense of the Z�lim�n (polytheists and wrong�doers)."
30. So the Nafs (self) of the other (latter one) encouraged him and made fair�seeming to him the murder of his brother; he murdered him and became one of the losers.
31. Then All�h sent a crow who scratched the ground to show him to hide the dead body of his brother. He (the murderer) said: "Woe to me! Am I not even able to be as this crow and to hide the dead body of my brother?" Then he became one of those who regretted.
32. Because of that We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And indeed, there came to them Our Messengers with clear proofs, evidences, and signs, even then after that many of them continued to exceed the limits (e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by All�h by committing the major sins) in the land!.
On the Day of Resurrection
Hadith - Sahih Al-Bukhar�, 8.536, Narrated Abu Huraira, r.a.
The Prophet (saaws) said, "The first man to be called on the Day of Resurrection will be Adam who will be shown his offspring, and it will be said to them, 'This is your father, Adam.' Adam will say (responding to the call), 'Labbaik and Sa'daik'
Then Allah will say (to Adam), 'Take out of your offspring, the people of Hell.' Adam will say, 'O Lord, how many should I take out?' Allah will say, 'Take out ninety-nine out of every hundred.' "
They (the Prophet's companions) said, "O Allah's Apostle! If ninety-nine out of every one hundred of us are taken away, what will remain out of us?" He said, "My followers in comparison to the other nations are like a white hair on a black ox."

33. He said: "O Adam! Inform them of their names," and when he had informed them of their names, He said: "Did I not tell you that I know the Ghaib (unseen) in the heavens and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you have been concealing?"
34. And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves before Adam.". And they prostrated except Ibl�s (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to All�h).
35. And We said: "O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the Z�lim�n (wrong-doers)."
36. Then the Shait�n (Satan) made them slip therefrom (the Paradise), and got them out from that in which they were. We said: "Get you down, all, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time."
37. Then Adam received from his Lord Words. And his Lord pardoned him (accepted his repentance). Verily, He is the One Who forgives (accepts repentance), the Most Merciful.
38. We said: "Get down all of you from this place (the Paradise), then whenever there comes to you Guidance from Me, and whoever follows My Guidance, there shall be no fear on them, nor shall they grieve.
Hadith - Qudsi 34
O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great at it.
The Statement of Allah: And He taught Adam all the names (of everything).
Hadith - Sahih Al-Bukhar�, Vol. 6, Had�th No. 3
Narrated Anas : The Prophet (saaws) said, "On the Day of Resurrection the believers will assemble and say, 'Let us ask somebody to intercede for us with our Lord.' So they will go to Adam and say, 'You are the father of all the people, and Allah created you with His Own Hands, and ordered the angels to prostrate to you, and taught you the names of all things; so please intercede for us with your Lord, so that He may relieve us from this place of ours.'
Adam will say, 'I am not fit for this (i.e. intercession for you).' Then Adam will remember his sin and feel ashamed thereof. He will say, 'Go to Noah, for he was thee first Messenger Allah sent to the inhabitants of the earth.'
They will go to him and Noah will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking.' He will remember his appeal to his Lord to do something of which he had no knowledge, then he will feel ashamed thereof and will say, 'Go to Khalil-ur-Rahm�n* (i.e. Abraham). They will go to him and he will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking. Go to Moses, the slave to whom Allah spoke (directly) and gave him the Torah.'
So they will go to him and he will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking,' and he will mention (his) killing a person who was not a killer, and so he will feel ashamed thereof before his Lord, and he will say, 'Go to Jesus, Allah's slave, His Messenger and Allah's Word and a spirit coming from Him**.
Jesus will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking, go to Muhammad the slave of Allah whose past and future sins were forgiven by Allah.' So they will come to me and I will proceed till I ask my Lord's Permission and I will be given permission.
When I see my Lord, I will fall down in prostration and He will lt me remain in that state as long as He wishes and then I will be addressed, '(Muhammad!) Raise your head. Ask, and your request will be granted; say, and your saying will be listened to; intercede, and your intercession will be accepted.' I will raise my head and praise Allah with a saying (i.e. invocation) He will teach me, and then I will intercede. He will fix a limit for me (to intercede) whom I will admit into Paradise. Then I will come back again to Allah, and when I see my Lord, the same thing will happen to me. And then I will intercede and Allah will fix a limit for me (to intercede) whom I will admit into Paradise, then I will come back for the third time; and then I will come back for the fourth time, and will say, 'None remains in Hell but those whom the Qur'�n has imprisoned in Hell' refers to the Statement of Allah : "To abide therein forever."

The First Four Children
Excerpt - Stories of the Prophets, by Ibn Kathir
The pinnacle of earthly bliss was reached when Adam and Hawwa (Eve) witnessed the birth of their first children, a set of twins. Adam was a devouted father and Hawwa was a contented mother. The twins were Qabil (Cain) and his sister. Later, Hawwa (Eve) gave birth to a second set of twins, Habil (Abel) and his sister. The family enjoyed the bounties and fruits of the earth provided by their Lord. The children grew up to be strong and healthy young adults. Qabil (Cain) tilled the land while Habil (Abel) raised cattle.

The Noble Qur'an - Al-Ma'idah 5:27-32
27. And (O Muhammad SAW) recite to them (the Jews) the story of the two sons of Adam [H�bil (Abel) and Q�bil (Cain)] in truth; when each offered a sacrifice (to All�h), it was accepted from the one but not from the other. The latter said to the former: "I will surely kill you.[]" The former said: "Verily, All�h accepts only from those who are Al-Muttaq�n (the pious - see V.2:2)."
28. "If you do stretch your hand against me to kill me, I shall never stretch my hand against you to kill you, for I fear Allah; the Lord of the 'Alam�n (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)."
29. "Verily, I intend to let you draw my sin on yourself as well as yours, then you will be one of the dwellers of the Fire, and that is the recompense of the Z�lim�n (polytheists and wrong�doers)."
30. So the Nafs (self) of the other (latter one) encouraged him and made fair�seeming to him the murder of his brother; he murdered him and became one of the losers.
31. Then All�h sent a crow who scratched the ground to show him to hide the dead body of his brother. He (the murderer) said: "Woe to me! Am I not even able to be as this crow and to hide the dead body of my brother?" Then he became one of those who regretted.
32. Because of that We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And indeed, there came to them Our Messengers with clear proofs, evidences, and signs, even then after that many of them continued to exceed the limits (e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by All�h by committing the major sins) in the land!.
On the Day of Resurrection
Hadith - Sahih Al-Bukhar�, 8.536, Narrated Abu Huraira, r.a.
The Prophet (saaws) said, "The first man to be called on the Day of Resurrection will be Adam who will be shown his offspring, and it will be said to them, 'This is your father, Adam.' Adam will say (responding to the call), 'Labbaik and Sa'daik'
Then Allah will say (to Adam), 'Take out of your offspring, the people of Hell.' Adam will say, 'O Lord, how many should I take out?' Allah will say, 'Take out ninety-nine out of every hundred.' "
They (the Prophet's companions) said, "O Allah's Apostle! If ninety-nine out of every one hundred of us are taken away, what will remain out of us?" He said, "My followers in comparison to the other nations are like a white hair on a black ox."

মা সম্পর্কিত কতিপয় হাদীস

১) রাসূলে খোদা (সা) বলেছেনঃ বেহেশ্ত হচ্ছে মায়েদের পায়ের নিচে। ( কানযুল উম্মালঃ ৪৫৪৩৯, মুনতাখাবে মিযানুল হিকমাহঃ ৬১৪ )
২) ইমাম সাদেক (আ) বলেছেনঃ এক লোক রাসূলের খেদমাতে এসে আরজ করলো-হে রাসুল! খেদমত করবো কার? রাসূল বললেনঃ তোমার মায়ের। লোকটি বললো-তারপর কার? রাসূল বললেনঃ তোমার মায়ের। লোকটি বললো-তারপর? রাসূল বললেন-তোমার মায়ের। লোকটি আবারো জিজ্ঞেস করলো তারপর কার? নবীজী বললেন-তোমার বাবার। ( আল-কাফিঃ ৯/১৫৯/২,মুনতাখাবে মিযানুল হিকমাহঃ ৬১৪ )
৩) রাসূলে কারিম (সা) বলেছেনঃ নারীর প্রতি সবচেয়ে বেশি অধিকার হচ্ছে তার স্বামীর,আর পুরুষের উপর সবচেয়ে বেশি অধিকার হচ্ছে তার মায়ের। ( কানযুল উম্মালঃ ৪৪৭৭১, মুনতাখাবে মিযানুল হিকমাহঃ ২৫৪ )
ফাতেমা (সা) এর ব্যক্তিত্ব এবং নারীর মর্যাদা বিষয়ক হাদিস
১) বেহেশ্ত হচ্ছে মায়েদের পায়ের নিচে।
২) প্রত্যেকেরই দুর্ভাগ্য কিংবা সৌভাগ্যের গোড়াপত্তন ঘটে মায়ের গর্ভে।
৩) মা-ই হলেন তার সন্তানের ইহকালীন এবং পরকালীন সৌভাগ্য নিশ্চিত করার প্রশিক্ষক।
৪) যখনি বেহেশতের ঘ্রাণ নেওয়ার ইচ্ছে জাগে তখনি ফাতেমাকে শুঁকি।
৫) আমার মেয়ের নাম রাখা হয়েছে ফাতেমা, কেননা আল্লাহ তাকে এবং তার
ভক্তদেরকে দোযখের আগুন থেকে দূরে রেখেছেন।
৬) আমি হলাম বৃক্ষ, ফাতেমা সেই বৃক্ষের শাখা, আলী সেই বৃক্ষের সার, হাসান এবং হোসাইন সেই বৃক্ষের ফল এবং আহলে বাইতের অনুরাগীরা হলেন বেহেশ্তি সেই বৃক্ষের পাতা।
৭) যে ফাতেমাকে তার উপযুক্ত মর্যাদাসহ চিনতে পেরেছে, সে শবে-কদরকে উপলব্ধি করতে পেরেছে। আর তাঁর ফাতেমা নামকরণের কারণ হলো কোনো সৃষ্টিই তাঁর অন্তর্দৃষ্টির পর্যায়ে পৌঁছতে পারবে না।
৮) যে-ই তাকে বিরক্ত করবে,সে যেন আমাকেই বিরক্ত করলো,আর যে আমাকে জ্বালাতন করলো সে আল্লাহর অসন্তুষ্টির কারণ হলো।
৯) ফাতেমা আমার দেহের অঙ্গ,আমার চোখের মণি এবং আমার হৃদয়ের ফল।
১০) ফাতেমা (সা)'র অন্তর থেকে শুরু করে সকল অস্থি-মাংস এককথায় শরীরের
সকল অঙ্গ-প্রত্যঙ্গকে আল্লাহ ঈমান ও বিশ্বাসে পরিপূর্ণ করে দিয়েছেন,যেভাবে
পরিপূর্ণ আন্তরিকতার সাথে তিনি আল্লাহর আনুগত্যে নিমজ্জিত থাকেন।
১১) উত্তম নারীর জেহাদ হচ্ছে স্বামী সেবা।
১২) নফল নামায পড়া অবস্থায় যদি পিতা তোমাকে ডাকে তাহলে নামায ছাড়া যাবে না, কিন্তু যদি তোমার মা তোমাকে ডাকে তাহলে নামায ছেড়ে দাও।
১৩) আল্লাহ রাব্বুল আলামিন ছেলেদের তুলনায় মেয়েদের প্রতি অধিকতর দয়াশীল।
১৪) কিয়ামতের দিন সে-ই আমার বেশি নিকটবর্তী হবে যে তার স্বামী বা স্ত্রীর সাথে
সবোর্ত্তম মানবিক আচরণ করবে।
১৫) মুমিন ব্যক্তি তার স্ত্রীর পছন্দের খাবার খায় আর মোনাফেকের স্ত্রী তার স্বামীর
পছন্দের খাবার খায়।
ইমাম সাদেক (আ)ঃ
১) ফাতেমার নাম যাহরা রাখা হয়েছে কেননা যখন সে ইবাদাতের মেহরাবে দাঁড়ায় আকাশবাসীদের ওপর তার নূরের ছটা পড়ে।
২) স্ত্রীদেরকে বেশি ভালোবাসলে ঈমান বেড়ে যায়।
৩) আমাদের প্রতি যতোবেশি ভালোবাসা থাকবে ততোবেশি স্ত্রীদেরকেও ভালোবাসবে।
৪) ফাতেমা (সা) ছিলেন রাসুলুল্লাহ (সা) এর অন্তরের ফল এবং চোখের জ্যোতি।
৫) হযরত আলী (আ)ঃ আল্লাহর শপথ! তোমার ঘর ছিল প্রশান্তির নীড়,আমি যখনি ঘরের দরোজায় আসতাম,তোমার চোখের ছোট্ট চাহনিতে আমার সকল চিন্তা-রাগ অন্তর থেকে দূর হয়ে যেত।
ফাতেমা (সা) এর বিভিন্ন দোয়াঃ
১) হে খোদা! রাগ-ক্রোধ কিংবা আনন্দের সময় ভয় এবং এখলাস, অভাবহীনতা বা অভাবের সময় মিতব্যয়ী বা ভারসাম্যপূর্ণ হওয়ার তৌফিক দান করো।
২) আমার নফ্স্কে দুর্বল করে দাও আর নফসের ওপর আমার নিয়ন্ত্রণ বা প্রতিরোধের শক্তি বৃদ্ধি করে দাও!
৩) যে তার একনিষ্ঠ ইবাদাতগুলোকে আল্লাহর প্রতি প্রেরণ করে, মহান আল্লাহ সবোর্ত্তম কল্যাণগুলোকে তার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেন।
৪) মুমিনের জন্যে প্রফুল্লতার পুরস্কার হলো বেহেশ্ত।
৫) আল্লাহ রাব্বুল আলামিন মুসলিম উম্মাহর সামাজিক শৃঙ্খলা বিধানের জন্যে আহলে বাইতের অনুসৃতি আর ঐক্য এবং বিচ্ছিন্নতা থেকে নিরাপদ থাকার জন্যে রাহবারি এবং ইমামতের বিধান দিয়েছেন।
৬) গাদিরে খোমের পর আল্লাহ আর কারো জন্যেই কোনোরকম বাহানা বা ওজর- আপত্তির সুযোগ রাখেন নি।
৭) আলী হলেন একজন রাব্বানী ও ঐশী ইমাম,নূরানী অবয়বের অধিকারী, সকল খোদাপ্রেমিক আরেফের দৃষ্টি ও মনোযোগের কেন্দ্রবিন্দু, পবিত্র খান্দানের সন্তান, সত এবং যথার্থ বক্তা, ইমামতের মানদণ্ড, নবীজীর হাতের দুই গুচ্ছ ফুল আর বেহেশতবাসী যুবকদের নেতা হাসান ও হোসাইনের পিতা।
৮) পরিপূর্ণ এবং প্রকৃত সৌভাগ্যবান সে-ই যে ইমাম আলী (আ) কে তাঁর
জীবৎকালে এবং তাঁর মৃত্যুর পর ভালবাসবে।
৯) রাসূলে খোদা (সা) এর আহলে বাইত, ইমামত এবং রাহবারি হচ্ছে বিচ্ছিন্নতা
থেকে মুক্তি ও নিরাপত্তার নেপথ্য শক্তি। আর আল্লাহর পথে জেহাদ হলো
ইসলামের অমরত্ব আর সম্মান ও মর্যাদার উৎস।
১০) হে পরোয়ারদেগার! হে মহান! যেসব নবী-পয়গাম্বরকে তুমি মনোনীত করেছো তাদের সম্মানে এবং আমার বিরহে হাসান ও হোসাইনের কান্নার ওসিলায় তোমার নিকট আবেদন করছি-তুমি আমার অনুসারীদের এবং আমার সন্তানদের অনুসারীদের গুনাহগুলোকে মাফ করে দাও।
১১) পার্থিব জগতপূজারীদের পৃথিবীকে আমি ভালোবাসি না।
১২) তোমাদের মধ্যে সে-ই উত্তম যে অন্যদের সাথে সদয় এবং নম্র ব্যবহার করে।
১৩) সে ব্যক্তিই সবোর্ত্তম মূল্যবোধের অধিকারী যে তার স্বামী বা স্ত্রীর ব্যাপারে সদয় এবং ক্ষমাশীল।
১৪) যে স্ত্রী নিজের ঘরে থাকে এবং সন্তান-সন্ততির লালন-পালন,তাদের প্রশিক্ষণের মধ্য দিয়ে নিজের জীবন কাটায়,সে আল্লাহর খুব নিকটবর্তী।
১৫) কিয়ামতের দিন ইসলামের নবী (সা) এর গুনাহগার উম্মাতের জন্যে আল্লাহর দরবারে সুপারিশ করবো।
১৬) সূরা হাদিদ,সূরা ওয়াকিয়া এবং সূরা আর-রাহমান তেলাওয়াতকারীদেরকে যমীনে এবং আসমানে বেহেশতের অধিবাসী বলা হয়।
১৭) তোমার পৃথিবীর তিনটি জিনিস আমার কাছে প্রিয়ঃ
• কোরআন তেলাওয়াত।
• রাসূলে খোদা (সা) এর চহারা দেখা এবং
• আল্লাহর পথে দান-খয়রাত করা।
১৮) বাহনের মালিক নিজের বাহনের একজন আরোহীর চেয়ে অনেক বেশি উপযুক্ত।
১৯) শৃঙ্খলা রক্ষা করা এবং মুসলমানদের মধ্যকার বিচ্ছিন্নতাকে ঐক্যে পরিবর্তন
করার জন্যেই ইমামত।

৭) যে ফাতেমাকে তার উপযুক্ত মর্যাদাসহ চিনতে পেরেছে, সে শবে-কদরকে উপলব্ধি করতে পেরেছে। আর তাঁর ফাতেমা নামকরণের কারণ হলো কোনো সৃষ্টিই তাঁর অন্তর্দৃষ্টির পর্যায়ে পৌঁছতে পারবে না।
৮) যে-ই তাকে বিরক্ত করবে,সে যেন আমাকেই বিরক্ত করলো,আর যে আমাকে জ্বালাতন করলো সে আল্লাহর অসন্তুষ্টির কারণ হলো।
৯) ফাতেমা আমার দেহের অঙ্গ,আমার চোখের মণি এবং আমার হৃদয়ের ফল।
১০) ফাতেমা (সা)'র অন্তর থেকে শুরু করে সকল অস্থি-মাংস এককথায় শরীরের
সকল অঙ্গ-প্রত্যঙ্গকে আল্লাহ ঈমান ও বিশ্বাসে পরিপূর্ণ করে দিয়েছেন,যেভাবে
পরিপূর্ণ আন্তরিকতার সাথে তিনি আল্লাহর আনুগত্যে নিমজ্জিত থাকেন।
১১) উত্তম নারীর জেহাদ হচ্ছে স্বামী সেবা।
১২) নফল নামায পড়া অবস্থায় যদি পিতা তোমাকে ডাকে তাহলে নামায ছাড়া যাবে না, কিন্তু যদি তোমার মা তোমাকে ডাকে তাহলে নামায ছেড়ে দাও।
১৩) আল্লাহ রাব্বুল আলামিন ছেলেদের তুলনায় মেয়েদের প্রতি অধিকতর দয়াশীল।
১৪) কিয়ামতের দিন সে-ই আমার বেশি নিকটবর্তী হবে যে তার স্বামী বা স্ত্রীর সাথে
সবোর্ত্তম মানবিক আচরণ করবে।
১৫) মুমিন ব্যক্তি তার স্ত্রীর পছন্দের খাবার খায় আর মোনাফেকের স্ত্রী তার স্বামীর
পছন্দের খাবার খায়।
ইমাম সাদেক (আ)ঃ
১) ফাতেমার নাম যাহরা রাখা হয়েছে কেননা যখন সে ইবাদাতের মেহরাবে দাঁড়ায় আকাশবাসীদের ওপর তার নূরের ছটা পড়ে।
২) স্ত্রীদেরকে বেশি ভালোবাসলে ঈমান বেড়ে যায়।
৩) আমাদের প্রতি যতোবেশি ভালোবাসা থাকবে ততোবেশি স্ত্রীদেরকেও ভালোবাসবে।
৪) ফাতেমা (সা) ছিলেন রাসুলুল্লাহ (সা) এর অন্তরের ফল এবং চোখের জ্যোতি।
৫) হযরত আলী (আ)ঃ আল্লাহর শপথ! তোমার ঘর ছিল প্রশান্তির নীড়,আমি যখনি ঘরের দরোজায় আসতাম,তোমার চোখের ছোট্ট চাহনিতে আমার সকল চিন্তা-রাগ অন্তর থেকে দূর হয়ে যেত।
ফাতেমা (সা) এর বিভিন্ন দোয়াঃ
১) হে খোদা! রাগ-ক্রোধ কিংবা আনন্দের সময় ভয় এবং এখলাস, অভাবহীনতা বা অভাবের সময় মিতব্যয়ী বা ভারসাম্যপূর্ণ হওয়ার তৌফিক দান করো।
২) আমার নফ্স্কে দুর্বল করে দাও আর নফসের ওপর আমার নিয়ন্ত্রণ বা প্রতিরোধের শক্তি বৃদ্ধি করে দাও!
৩) যে তার একনিষ্ঠ ইবাদাতগুলোকে আল্লাহর প্রতি প্রেরণ করে, মহান আল্লাহ সবোর্ত্তম কল্যাণগুলোকে তার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেন।
৪) মুমিনের জন্যে প্রফুল্লতার পুরস্কার হলো বেহেশ্ত।
৫) আল্লাহ রাব্বুল আলামিন মুসলিম উম্মাহর সামাজিক শৃঙ্খলা বিধানের জন্যে আহলে বাইতের অনুসৃতি আর ঐক্য এবং বিচ্ছিন্নতা থেকে নিরাপদ থাকার জন্যে রাহবারি এবং ইমামতের বিধান দিয়েছেন।
৬) গাদিরে খোমের পর আল্লাহ আর কারো জন্যেই কোনোরকম বাহানা বা ওজর- আপত্তির সুযোগ রাখেন নি।
৭) আলী হলেন একজন রাব্বানী ও ঐশী ইমাম,নূরানী অবয়বের অধিকারী, সকল খোদাপ্রেমিক আরেফের দৃষ্টি ও মনোযোগের কেন্দ্রবিন্দু, পবিত্র খান্দানের সন্তান, সত এবং যথার্থ বক্তা, ইমামতের মানদণ্ড, নবীজীর হাতের দুই গুচ্ছ ফুল আর বেহেশতবাসী যুবকদের নেতা হাসান ও হোসাইনের পিতা।
৮) পরিপূর্ণ এবং প্রকৃত সৌভাগ্যবান সে-ই যে ইমাম আলী (আ) কে তাঁর
জীবৎকালে এবং তাঁর মৃত্যুর পর ভালবাসবে।
৯) রাসূলে খোদা (সা) এর আহলে বাইত, ইমামত এবং রাহবারি হচ্ছে বিচ্ছিন্নতা
থেকে মুক্তি ও নিরাপত্তার নেপথ্য শক্তি। আর আল্লাহর পথে জেহাদ হলো
ইসলামের অমরত্ব আর সম্মান ও মর্যাদার উৎস।
১০) হে পরোয়ারদেগার! হে মহান! যেসব নবী-পয়গাম্বরকে তুমি মনোনীত করেছো তাদের সম্মানে এবং আমার বিরহে হাসান ও হোসাইনের কান্নার ওসিলায় তোমার নিকট আবেদন করছি-তুমি আমার অনুসারীদের এবং আমার সন্তানদের অনুসারীদের গুনাহগুলোকে মাফ করে দাও।
১১) পার্থিব জগতপূজারীদের পৃথিবীকে আমি ভালোবাসি না।
১২) তোমাদের মধ্যে সে-ই উত্তম যে অন্যদের সাথে সদয় এবং নম্র ব্যবহার করে।
১৩) সে ব্যক্তিই সবোর্ত্তম মূল্যবোধের অধিকারী যে তার স্বামী বা স্ত্রীর ব্যাপারে সদয় এবং ক্ষমাশীল।
১৪) যে স্ত্রী নিজের ঘরে থাকে এবং সন্তান-সন্ততির লালন-পালন,তাদের প্রশিক্ষণের মধ্য দিয়ে নিজের জীবন কাটায়,সে আল্লাহর খুব নিকটবর্তী।
১৫) কিয়ামতের দিন ইসলামের নবী (সা) এর গুনাহগার উম্মাতের জন্যে আল্লাহর দরবারে সুপারিশ করবো।
১৬) সূরা হাদিদ,সূরা ওয়াকিয়া এবং সূরা আর-রাহমান তেলাওয়াতকারীদেরকে যমীনে এবং আসমানে বেহেশতের অধিবাসী বলা হয়।
১৭) তোমার পৃথিবীর তিনটি জিনিস আমার কাছে প্রিয়ঃ
• কোরআন তেলাওয়াত।
• রাসূলে খোদা (সা) এর চহারা দেখা এবং
• আল্লাহর পথে দান-খয়রাত করা।
১৮) বাহনের মালিক নিজের বাহনের একজন আরোহীর চেয়ে অনেক বেশি উপযুক্ত।
১৯) শৃঙ্খলা রক্ষা করা এবং মুসলমানদের মধ্যকার বিচ্ছিন্নতাকে ঐক্যে পরিবর্তন
করার জন্যেই ইমামত।

মক্কার মুশরিকদের মধ্যে অন্যতম ক'জন ছিল আবু জেহেল, আবু সুফিয়ান এবং আখনাস। এরা দিনের বেলা ঠিকই অন্যদেরকে রাসূলের কাছে যেতে বাধা দিত আর রাতের বেলা নিজেরাই গোপনে গোপনে কোরআন তেলাওয়াত শোনার জন্যে রাসূলের ঘরের পাশে গিয়ে লুকিয়ে থাকতো।
একরাতে এদের তিনজনই যার যার মতো লুকিয়ে লুকিয়ে কোরআন তেলাওয়াত শুনলো। তেলাওয়াত শোনার পর যখন তারা বেরিয়ে এলো, তখন সবার সাথে সবার দেখা হলো এবং সবার কাছেই সবার গোপনীয়তা প্রকাশ হয়ে পড়লো। ফলে পরস্পরকে তিরস্কার করতে লাগলো এবং তারা শপথ করলো যে এই ঘরে আর কখনো আসবে না। মুখে তার একথা বললেও কোরআনের প্রতি আকর্ষণের কারণে তারা তাদের শপথের কথা রাখতে পারলো না। তাই পরের রাতেও তিনজনই রাসূলের নিজ মুখে আল্লাহর বাণী শোনার জন্যে বাইরে বেরিয়ে এলো। পরপর তিনদিন এই ঘটনার পুনরাবৃত্তি হলো। কোরআনের প্রতি তাদের আকর্ষণ সৃষ্টি হলেও ঈর্ষাপরায়নতা ও গোঁড়ামির কারণেই তারা সত্য গ্রহণ করা থেকে বিরত ছিল।
ওয়ালিদ ইবনে মুগীরা ছিলেন আরবের শ্রেষ্ঠ সাহিত্য সমালোচক। একবার কুরাইশদের একটি দল ওয়ালিদকে নিয়ে রাসূলের কাছে গেল বিতর্ক করতে । কুরাইশরা অপেক্ষায় ছিল এই বুঝি ওয়ালিদ রাসূলকে পরাস্ত করে বসলো। রাসূল কোরআনের একটি আয়াত তেলাওয়াত করলেন। ওয়ালিদ প্রথম দিকে অহঙ্কারের সাথে আয়াত শুনছিলো। কিন্তু পরক্ষণে দেখা গেল রাসূলের মুখে তেলাওয়াতের শব্দ যতোই বৃদ্ধি পেতে লাগলো,ওয়ালিদ ততোই শান্ত এবং আত্মসমর্পিত হতে শুরু করলো। ওয়ালিদ বললো : "কী মধুর ! এটা কিছুতেই মানুষের বানানো বক্তব্য হতে পারে না।" আয়াতের মাধুর্য ওয়ালিদের ভেতর এতোটাই প্রভাব বিস্তার করলো যে, সে পরিবর্তিত হয়ে গেল। মুশরিকরা তাকে ভয় দেখালো, সাবধান করে দিল। কিন্তু ওয়ালিদ বললো , "মুহাম্মাদের কাছ থেকে যেসব কথা আমি শুনেছি , সেসব কথা এতো আকর্ষণীয় যে অন্য কারো কথার সাথে তার তুলনা হয় না। তার বক্তব্যকে ঠিক কবিতাও বলা যায় না, আবার গদ্যও বলা যায় না, গদ্য-পদ্যের উর্ধ্বে তাঁর বক্তব্য গভীর অর্থপূর্ণ, মিষ্টি-মধুর, কল্যাণময় ও প্রভাব বিস্তারকারী। তাঁর বক্তব্য এতোই উচ্চমানের যে, কোনোকিছুই তারচেয়ে উন্নত হতে পারে না।"
এবার আমরা আরেকজন জ্ঞানী ও বিজ্ঞ লোকের কথা বলবো যিনি রাসূলের কণ্ঠে কোরআন তেলাওয়াত শোনার সাথে সাথেই ইসলাম গ্রহণ করেন। ঐ লোকটি ছিলেন আদ দাউস গোত্রের সরদার তুফাইল ইবনে আমর। তিনি একজন কবিও ছিলেন। একবার তিনি মক্কার আসার পর মক্কার সর্দাররা তাকে মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) এর সাথে দেখা করতে নিষেধ করে দিলেো। তারা জানালো, মুহাম্মদের কথা মক্কায় ভীষণ বিশৃঙ্খলার সৃষ্টি করেছে। কোরাইশ নেতাদের কথামতো তুফাইল ইবনে আমর মহানবীর সংস্পর্শ এড়িয়ে চলতে লাগলেন। কখনও তিনি মহানবীর মুখোমুখি হলে চোখ বুঁজতেন এবং কান বন্ধ করতেন। ঘটনাক্রমে একদিন যখন মহানবী (সাঃ) কাবা ঘরে নামায পড়ছিলেন, তখন তাঁর কণ্ঠ নিঃসৃত কোরআনের আয়াতগুলো তুফাইলের কানে প্রবেশ করলো। মুহুর্তেই আয়াতগুলো তাঁর হৃদয়ে চাঞ্চল্যের সৃষ্টি করলো। নামায শেষে যখন নবীজী কাবাঘর থেকে বের হয়ে বাড়ীর দিকে রওনা হলেন, তখন তুফাইল তার পিছু পিছু নবীজীর বাড়িতে গেলেন। বাড়ীতে পৌছার পর তিনি আবারো আয়াতগুলো তেলাওয়াত করার জন্য নবীজীর প্রতি অনুরোধ জানালেন। মহানবী কোরআনের আয়াতগুলো পুনরায় তেলাওয়াত করলেন। অভিভূত তুফাইল সাথে সাথে ইসলাম গ্রহণ করলেন।
এবার আমরা জামাদ নামে ইয়েমেনের একজন জাদুকরের কথা বলবো যিনি রাসূলের কণ্ঠে কোরআন তেলাওয়াত শোনার সাথে সাথে ইসলাম গ্রহণ করেছিলেন। জাদুকর জামাদ ইয়েমেন থেকে মক্কার আসার পর কুরাইশ নেতাদের বললেন, মুহাম্মদের ওপর যে দুষ্ট দেবতার আছর হয়েছে তা সে ছাড়িয়ে দেবে। কুরাইশ নেতারা এ কথা শুনে খুশী হলো। জামাদ মহানবী (সাঃ) এর কাছে গিয়ে হাজির হয়ে বললো, আমি শুনেছি আপনার ওপর নাকি দুষ্ট দেবতার আছর করেছে, আমি তা ছাড়িয়ে দিতে চাই। মহানবী এ কথা শুনে কোন রাগ না করে বললেন, আপনার যা করার করবেন, তার আগে আমার কথা শুনুন। একথা বলে নবীজী পবিত্র কোরআন থেকে কয়েকটি আয়াত পাঠ করলেন। আয়াতগুলো শুনে জামাদ অভিভূত হয়ে গেল এবং আয়াতগুলো আবারো পাঠ করার অনুরোধ করলো। মহানবী আয়াতগুলো দ্বিতীয়বার যখন পাঠ করা শেষ করলেন তখন জামাদ চিৎকার করে বলে উঠল, ' আমি বহু ভবিষ্যদ্বক্তা. জাদুকর ও কবির কথা শুনেছি কিন্তু আল্লাহ সাক্ষী এই কথাগুলোর কোন তুলনা নেই। ' এরপর জামাদ বললো, হে মুহাম্মদ! আপনার হাত বাড়িয়ে দিন, আমি ইসলাম গ্রহণ করছি।
কোরআনের প্রতি আকর্ষণ সম্পর্কে এরকম আরও বহু ঘটনা ইসলামের ইতিহাসে আছে এবং বর্তমানেও এ ধরনের ঘটনা ঘটছে। আর তাইতো মুক্তিপাগল মানুষরা প্রতিদিনই কোরআনের ছায়াতলে সমবেত হচ্ছে।

কোরআনের প্রতি আকর্ষণ সম্পর্কে এরকম আরও বহু ঘটনা ইসলামের ইতিহাসে আছে এবং বর্তমানেও এ ধরনের ঘটনা ঘটছে। আর তাইতো মুক্তিপাগল মানুষরা প্রতিদিনই কোরআনের ছায়াতলে সমবেত হচ্ছে।

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying: Woman is like a rib. When you attempt to straighten it, you would break it. And if you leave her alone you would benefit by her, and crookedness will remain in her. A hadith like this is reported by another chain of narrators.
Hadith - Muslim, #3468
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Apostle as saying: He who believes in Allah and the Hereafter, if he witnesses any matter he should talk in good terms about it or keep quiet. Act kindly towards woman, for woman is created from a rib, and the most crooked part of the rib is its top. If you attempt to straighten it, you will break it, and if you leave it, its crookedness will remain there. So act kindly towards women.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying: A believing man should not hate a believing woman; it he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another.
Hadith - Sahih Al-Bukhari 7.117 Narrated 'Aisha, r.a.
The eleventh one said, "My husband is Abu Zar and what is Abu Zar (i.e., what should I say about him)? He has given me many ornaments and my ears are heavily loaded with them and my arms have become fat (i.e., I have become fat). And he has pleased me, and I have become so happy that I feel proud of myself. He found me with my family who were mere owners of sheep and living in poverty, and brought me to a respected family having horses and camels and threshing and purifying grain. Whatever I say, he does not rebuke or insult me. When I sleep, I sleep till late in the morning, and when I drink water (or milk), I drink my fill."
....'Aisha then said: Allah's Apostle SAAWS said to me, "I am to you as Abu Zar was to his wife Um Zar."
